Radiation Safety Service (RSS) of Isotope Technologies CJSC is accredited by State Enterprise ‘BSCA’ in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 and has a status of Accredited testing laboratory (Certificate of Accreditation № BY/112 2.2795 dated 11.09.2006).
Core operations of RSS are the following:
- Measurement of ambient dose equivalent rate of X-ray, neutron and gamma radiation;
- Measurement of alpha-particle, beta-particle and neutron flux density;
- Measurement of air kerma rate and absorbed dose in water of photon radiation;
- Determination of alpha-particle and beta-particle surface contamination;
- Isotope determination, determination of specific activity and volumetric activity of gamma-emitting radionuclides in liquid samples (except for food and drinking water).
These operations can be performed as a part of:
- Prolonging expired service terms of radionuclide sources;
- Installation (uninstallation), source exchange and maintenance of apparatus for medical, industrial and scientific use, gamma ray projectors, radiation devices and installations, radiation generators;
- Instrumental measurements of environmental hazards on a work place;
- Other (related to ionizing radiation).
